Rangemaster Cookers – An Introduction

Rangemaster have been leading the field of range cooking ever since their creation of the Kitchener – in effect, the world’s first range cooker. The Kitchener caused quite a stir, making cooking quicker, easier and infinitely more efficient. It would be fair to say it has influenced every range cooker since – it undoubtedly set the foundations for Rangemaster’s domination of the range cooking market.

Rangemaster still manufacture range cookers from the site of their original factory in Royal Leamington Spa, and have grown to become Europe’s number one range cooker manufacturer. Rangemaster Classic – a firm favourite and often seen as the flagship Rangemaster cooker, the Classic offers a sturdy, traditional presence ideally suited to the farmhouse kitchen. Solid, bevelled oven doors and baker style arched windows reinforce the homely image.

Rangemaster Professional Plus – the definitive contemporary range cooker, the Rangemaster Professional Plus’ sleek, clean lines offer an aesthetic at home in the more modern kitchen. Stainless, gloss black and chrome combine to achieve the semi industrial look, and the cooking power comes from multifunction and fanned ovens, paired with the roll out grill and either gas, ceramic or induction hobs.

Rangemaster Elan – something of a personal favourite, the Elan harks back to simpler times! Distinctive wire wound handles, bold control knobs and luxuriously enamelled, thick bevelled doors make the Rangemaster Elan completely unique, but also so typically Rangemaster. Rangemaster Toledo – the Toledo is a long standing staple in Rangemaster’s collection due to its ability to be almost all things to all men! Neither too contemporary nor indeed too traditional, the Toledo seems to get the balance just right and has an uncanny ability to fit into almost any kitchen. Built to the same high standards as its stablemates, the Toledo is available in three fuel types – gas, electric and dual fuel – and in three widths, 90, 100 and 110cm.
